Ballarat High School and COVID-19

Face Masks

Face masks are no longer mandated to be worn, however we strongly recommend and support the use of masks by staff and students at school and while travelling to and from school on public transport and school buses.

Rapid Antigen Tests

All staff and students can be supplied with free RAT’s, allowing testing to be conducted at home.

All positive results must be reported to the Department of Health and the School.

The Department of Education’s latest advice on coronavirus can be found at https://www.education.vic.gov.au/coronavirus

Ballarat High School is a learning community where every person is valued, respected and challenged as a learner.

Ballarat High School acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we are located, the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nation.  We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Here at Ballarat High School we embrace and welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff from every nation.  We welcome the opportunity for all of us to come together as one on Wadawurrung country to embrace education and culture.
