Canteen

Ballarat High School operates a Canteen to provide lunches and snacks to students and staff. All items are sold at or below retail prices, and we have been able to do this only because the Canteen is staffed with voluntary helpers.

Working in the Canteen provides parents with a wonderful way of getting to know about Ballarat High School, and making new friends.

The Canteen is a self service operation and parent volunteers are not required to serve students or handle money. The main task is food preparation. Ballarat High School is committed to providing a healthy range of food options for students and parents’ valuable assistance in this food preparation has enormous benefits for the School community. The Canteen also offers Eftpos facilities.
