Community Use of School Facilities

Ballarat High School has a range of sporting facilities that are available for community use.

Football Ovals

The School has 2 football ovals available for hire, one having a turf cricket wicket. Both are maintained to high standards to ensure safe use. Ovals are booked per evening on school days and per day on student free days. Most hires of the oval will include mandatory hire of the changeroom/toilet facilities in between the two ovals with associated cleaning costs.

Please note: if both ovals are being hired by different groups shared use of changeroom/toilet facilities is required.

Gymnasium

The School’s gymnasium includes 3 basketball courts and a class room/meeting space which are available for hire on an individual or whole venue basis per hour.

Multi Sport Courts

The school has recently opened its multi sport courts incorporating hockey, tennis and netball with lights for hire.
