The Ballarat High School Foundation
In 2000, Ballarat High School was fortunate to receive a significant donation for the purpose of establishing a School Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide assistance to the School in a number of areas, particularly in the area of future developments of School facilities and resources.
Through the generosity and support of parents, friends, ex students/staff and members of the community, Ballarat High School has benefited with support for the development of a number of School facilities.
The Foundation supports the following funds and activities and warmly welcomes any support.
Friends of Ballarat High School
This association aims to support the continued relationship between the School and students, staff, parents and other members of the community. With a biannual newsletter, the Friends of Ballarat High School aims not only to keep you in touch with news about the School but also with news and events concerning our ex-students, staff and families.
Bequest
Bequests are contained within a will and may take several forms, including provision for a scholarship or a particular area of study within the School’s educational program or may be allocated at the discretion of the School. For further information please contact the School.
Building Fund
The Building Fund provides funds for developing innovative learning facilities and facilities that support the opportunities we offer our students. Future projects include: Technology Wing upgrade and Gymnasium upgrade.
Library Fund
The Library Fund provides funds for development of both the Library collections and also the resources that support learning in the 21st century
General Fund
The General Fund provides funds for a wide range of purposes across the School, but with a particular focus on families experiencing financial hardship.
